Lisa J. Auer concentrates her practice on family law. Her practice includes representation of spouses and domestic partners with respect to dissolutions, including complex property issues and high-earner child and spousal support; parentage and custody actions; second-parent adoptions; and cohabitation, domestic partner, premarital, and postmarital agreements.
Prior to joining Sideman & Bancroft, Ms. Auer was an associate at Folger Levin & Kahn LLP in San Francisco. While in law school, Ms. Auer was an extern law clerk for Judge Donald Sullivan, San Francisco Unified Family Court. She also served as a law clerk with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and with Bay Area Legal Aid. Prior to law school, Ms. Auer worked in publishing as a project manager and editor.
