Gilda Turitz inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished NeutralsJanuary 2016
Sideman & Bancroft LLP is pleased to announce that Litigation and ADR practice group leader Gilda R. Turitz has been inducted into the California Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) for 2016.
The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals is a professional association whose membership consists of neutrals distinguished by their hands-on experience in the field of civil and commercial conflict resolution, and by their commitment to methods of alternative dispute resolution. Established in 2008, NADN comprises more than 900 peer-reviewed civil trial mediators and arbitrators throughout the United States who devote a significant portion of their current practice to conflict resolution.
All academy members have been thoroughly vetted and found to meet stringent practice criteria. To qualify for induction, candidates must receive two academy votes, be established in their mediation or arbitration practice with a minimum of either 200 mediations or 20 arbitrations to final award, and submit contact information for reference checks.
In 2013, NADN partnered with two of America’s largest legal associations, the Defense Research Institute and the American Association for Justice, helping to solidify its place as the litigation sector’s most trusted online neutrals roster.
