Kirsten Wolff Joins Sideman & Bancroft’s Estate Planning and Tax Groups

Sideman & Bancroft LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Kirsten Wolff to the Estate Planning and Tax Groups. Ms. Wolff, who was previously an attorney with Shartsis Friese LLP, joins the firm’s San Francisco office as counsel.

Ms. Wolff focuses her practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, and probate for individual clients. She has particular expertise in representing trustees and other fiduciaries on issues relating to California state income taxation of trusts. Ms. Wolff additionally advises individuals and non-profit organization on philanthropic planning matters, including charitable gift planning, obtaining tax exemption for non-profit organizations, and counseling charitable organizations on tax and compliance issues.

“Kirsten’s experience administering complex trusts in international jurisdictions will be a great asset for our clients,” said Managing Partner Jeffrey Hallam. “We’re very glad to have her on board.”

Ms. Wolff received her J.D. in 2007 from Stanford Law School. Prior to joining Sideman & Bancroft LLP, she also served as a law clerk to the Honorable James V. Selna in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
