Travis Thompson Speaks at the Criminal Tax Fraud & Tax Controversy Program

Criminal Tax Attorney, Travis Thompson, of Sideman & Bancroft will be speaking at the American Bar Association 40th Annual National Institute on Criminal Tax Fraud and the 13th Annual National Institute on Tax Controversy in Las Vegas, Nevada taking place December 7th – 9th, 2023.

The 40th Annual National Institute on Criminal Tax Fraud and the 13th Annual National Institute on Tax Controversy represents the annual convergence of professionals within the criminal tax controversy and defense bar. This event serves as a platform that unites esteemed figures, including high-level government representatives, judges, corporate counsel, and private practitioners, all actively involved in various facets of tax controversy, tax litigation, and criminal tax prosecutions and defense. The American Bar Association writes, “This program brings together high-level government representatives, judges, corporate counsel, and private practitioners engaged in all aspects of tax controversy, tax litigation, and criminal tax prosecutions and defense.”

Thompson will be speaking on the panel “Ethical Issues in Artificial Intelligence and
Data Security: How Data Technology Is Changing Tax Practice (Ethic and NY Cybersecurity Credit)”. This panel will be taking place on Friday, December 8th at 2:45 PM at the Hermitage.
