Apple has agreed to pay at least $32.5 million to settle charges that it allowed children to make unauthorized in-app purchases through their parents’ iTunes accounts.

Recent FTC reports and settlements with Apple and mobile app developers “confirm that the FTC is willing to act in the protection of consumers when it comes to privacy, mobile apps and children’s issues,” Dinkel said.
