Simon Mayali advises clients on estate planning, trust administration, estate and gift taxation, and probate. He developed his passion for helping clients plan for the future and navigate the intricacies of estate administration while practicing in Chicago. He later obtained his LL.M in taxation with a focus on estate planning to counsel clients on complex estate and gift tax issues.
Prior to joining Sideman & Bancroft, Simon was an associate in the International Tax department at PricewaterhouseCoopers and an associate for a boutique trusts and estates firm in San Francisco. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, received his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and his Taxation LL.M from Northwestern School of Law. He is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in California, Illinois, Texas, and Washington D.C.
Simon is currently acting co-chair of The Bar Association of San Francisco Barrister’s Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section.
