Sideman & Bancroft is thrilled to announce that Ivana Petani has joined the Firm as an associate attorney in our Brand Integrity and Innovation Group and Intellectual Property Group.
Ms. Petani’s practice focuses on all aspects of brand protection, including trademark counseling, trademark clearance, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement. Her addition to the team strengthens our commitment to helping clients safeguard their brands and navigate the complexities of intellectual property law.
Ms. Petani’s journey with Sideman & Bancroft began in 2023 as an intern in the Brand Integrity and Innovation Group. She earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she excelled as the Online Editor of the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal (AELJ) and served as the Communications Chair of the Women’s Law Initiative. During law school, she gained valuable experience externing in-house at Amadeus, complementing her academic achievements with practical insights into intellectual property matters.
Prior to law school, Ms. Petani worked as a patent coordinator at a prominent law firm and served as a deputy court clerk at the Superior Court of California, County of San Mateo.
