SAN FRANCISCO — AUG. 26, 2026 — Sideman & Bancroft LLP is pleased to announce that Jordan A. Hameen, an associate in the firm’s Brand Integrity and Innovation Group, has been recognized by The National Black Lawyers as a “Top 40 Under 40” for her contributions to intellectual property law.
The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 is a selective, invitation-only professional honor recognizing accomplished African American attorneys under the age of 40. Selection reflects professional achievement, reputation, leadership, and involvement in the legal community.
Jordan advises clients on trademark, copyright, and advertising matters, with a particular focus on global brand protection and emerging technology, including generative artificial intelligence. She brings a strategic, business-oriented perspective to intellectual property enforcement and portfolio management.
Jordan’s experience also includes an in-house secondment at Adobe Inc., where she worked on advanced trademark and copyright matters at the intersection of artificial intelligence and creative technologies. She has advised clients on trademark clearance, USPTO prosecution, brand enforcement strategies, and copyright fair use matters.
Her commitment to innovation extends beyond her client work. Jordan was selected to participate in the Google Lead Mentor Program, through which she works with in-house counsel to discuss strategic approaches to issues in the technology sector.
Jordan is also actively involved in the intellectual property community. She has served on the International Trademark Association (INTA) Academic Committee and is a member of the Advisory Board of the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association (SFIPLA). She also frequently leads intellectual property workshops and educational sessions for entrepreneurs and creatives in underrepresented communities.
The Top 40 Under 40 recognition adds to Jordan’s growing list of professional honors. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Intellectual Property Law for four consecutive years, from 2024 through 2027.
Jordan earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.A. from Emory University. While in law school, she served as a staff editor for the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal and competed twice in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, earning first place for Best Oral Advocate in the Western Regional Division. Before entering the legal profession, Jordan worked as a Legislative Aide in the Georgia House of Representatives.
