San Francisco (January 1, 2025) – Sideman & Bancroft is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael H. Hewitt Jr. to Partner.
Michael joined Sideman & Bancroft as an associate attorney in 2018 supporting the Brand Integrity and Innovation Group, Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution Group, and the Intellectual Property Group. Since joining the Firm, Michael has led innovative brand protection and litigation efforts for a range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to startups. He also played a pivotal role in creating and establishing the Blockchain & Digital Assets practice group at the Firm which he co-leads.
During his time at the Firm, Michael has earned consecutive recognition in Super Lawyers having been named a Rising Star since 2022 – a designation given to no more than 2.5 percent of the region’s lawyers. On Michael’s elevation to Partner, Managing Partner Jeffrey Hallam stated, “Michael has been an exceptional addition to Sideman & Bancroft.
