Sideman & Bancroft LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three new attorneys: Ian K. Boyd, Diana L. Leonida and Anna P. Chang. With the new hires, the firm expands its Intellectual Property and Family Law practice groups.

Ian K. Boyd joins Sideman & Bancroft’s Intellectual Property group as a partner. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and counseling; trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution, and enforcement; and trade secret and advertising law. Mr. Boyd was previously a partner at Siskind Boyd LLP, a San Francisco-based IP firm, and its predecessor, Harvey Siskind LLP, since 2003. He is a Past President of the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association (SFIPLA). Mr. Boyd currently serves on the Leadership Development Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and was appointed to INTA’s Presidential Task Force.
Diana L. Leonida joins the firm’s Family Law practice group as a senior associate. Her practice encompasses a range of family law matters, including high conflict custody and those involving move-away and international issues, child and spousal support and property division, including those involving stock options and privately held businesses. Prior to joining Sideman & Bancroft, Ms. Leonida was an associate attorney at a long-standing family law firm where she was lead chair on several trials involving issues of school choice, domestic abuse, custodial timeshare and support modification. Ms. Leonida earned her J.D. with highest honors from Golden Gate University in 2004.
Anna P. Chang joins Sideman & Bancroft’s Intellectual Property practice group as an associate. Her practice focuses on commercial counseling, litigation, and trademark prosecution and enforcement. Ms. Chang was previously an associate at Siskind Boyd LLP and Kerr & Wagstaffe LLP. As a law student, she served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal and represented clients pro bono through the U.C. Hastings Civil Justice Clinic. Ms. Chang received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2014.
