Sideman & Bancroft Partner Beatrice Martinet will speak at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 2025 Annual Meeting, taking place May 17–21 in San Diego, California. The event is the one of the largest gatherings of intellectual property professionals, drawing over 10,000 participants from across the globe.
Ms. Martinet will participate in the panel discussion “Navigating the EU DSA and AI Act: Implications for Trademark Professionals” on Tuesday, May 20th from 3:45 to 4:45 PM at the San Diego Convention Center. The session, presented by INTA’s Legislation and Regulations Committee, will explore how the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA) and Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) are reshaping the trademark landscape and introducing new compliance and enforcement challenges for brand owners and legal practitioners worldwide.
Ms. Martinet, a founding partner of Sideman & Bancroft’s European office and a dual-qualified attorney in California and France, brings extensive cross-border expertise in intellectual property litigation, intermediary liability, and brand enforcement strategies. She will be joined on the panel by fellow industry leaders Jeanne Kelly (Browne Jacobson, Ireland), Thomas Molsgaard (Zacco, Denmark), and moderator Peter Olson (Zacco, Denmark).
