Law360 has ranked Sideman & Bancroft the 20th most diverse law firm in the country among firms with 100 or fewer attorneys, according to the outlet’s latest “Diversity Snapshot” published on August 16.

Sideman & Bancroft’s ranking reflects the firm’s commitment to building a culture of inclusion that promotes equal opportunity for all, and a welcoming workplace that celebrates diversity among attorneys and staff regardless of gender, race, ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion, age or disability status.

“This ranking is a testament to the firm’s ongoing commitment to achieve meaningful representation,” said partner Lyndsey Heaton, chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee. “I’m proud of where Sideman & Bancroft stands now and how we will continue to grow and lead in this area going forward. Amid a pandemic that has put disproportionate strain and heartache on gender, racial and ethnic minorities, this recognition bolsters our resolve to continually do more to recruit, retain and promote diverse attorneys.”

Law360’s Diversity Snapshot ranks firms on their overall representation of minority attorneys at the associate and partner levels. This latest report provides a view of firms’ demographics as of the end of 2020.

Sideman & Bancroft has previously earned many recognitions for its diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, including in Law360’s “Glass Ceiling Report,” which surveys law firms on their attorneys’ gender demographics. The firm received top honors in both 2019 and 2020, tying for first among U.S. law firms with 100 or fewer attorneys due to its industry-leading percentages of female attorneys and female equity partners.

In addition to these recognitions, the firm is certified as a woman-owned business by the Suppliers Clearinghouse and is an active member of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF).
