Sam Berrin Joins Sideman & Bancroft’s Intellectual Property and Brand Integrity and Innovation Groups

Sideman & Bancroft LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Sam Berrin to the Intellectual Property and Brand Integrity and Innovation Groups. Mr. Berrin, who was previously an attorney at Creative Industry Law, joins the firm’s San Francisco office as an associate.

Mr. Berrin focuses his practice on all aspects of brand protection including intellectual property licensing, domestic and foreign trademark prosecution and enforcement, copyright protection, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement.

“As we see greater demand for our intellectual property and brand protection services, we’re excited to have Sam join and support the team,” said Managing Partner Jeffrey Hallam. “His experience and client-first attitude will bring tremendous value to our clients.”

Additionally, Mr. Berrin writes a blog on intellectual property issues in the cannabis industry. He also is the founder of the Cannabis, Alcohol, and Regulated Industries Barrister’s Section for the Bar Association of San Francisco. In 2014, Mr. Berrin received his J.D. with a concentration in intellectual property from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
