Sideman & Bancroft LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Béatrice Martinet to partner, effective January 1, 2017.

Ms. Martinet focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, arbitration and transactional work for clients in a wide range of sectors, including in the computer, technology, software, publishing, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and fashion industries. Throughout her career she has handled many cases both internationally and in Silicon Valley relating to the liability of internet intermediaries for user-generated content.
Prior to joining Sideman & Bancroft in 2014, Ms. Martinet practiced for ten years in France, notably in the Paris intellectual property departments of two large international law firms, Salans (now Dentons) and Bird & Bird. Her native languages are French and Italian; she is also fluent in English, and conversant in Spanish.
Ms. Martinet is an active member of the intellectual property community and is a frequent speaker at IP-related conferences.
