Bay Area tax attorney, Travis Thompson, will be heading to Munich, Germany in April to speak at the 24th Annual U.S. and Europe Tax Practice Trends Conference. The conference will examine current tax practice trends relevant to multinational corporations and international advisors. Panelists will include industry leaders, senior government and OECD officials, and prominent tax practitioners from the United States and Europe. Thompson will be speaking on the panel “Tax and Artificial Intelligence – Not Just a Twinkle in Asimov’s Eye” alongside other legal tax professionals and technology experts.
Thompson’s panel will discuss the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the tax practice, delving into the realistic expectations of AI within the tax context, acknowledging the evolving landscape of global tax transparency and readily available taxpayer data. Travis Thompson has previous expertise speaking about AI and Tax law including at the Taxation of Financial Instruments Conference this past January.
