Sideman & Bancroft is pleased to announce that Amanda Rinkoff, Arthur Minasyan and Pauline Tseng have joined the Brand Integrity and Innovation Group (BIIG) in San Francisco, further bolstering the firm’s comprehensive brand protection offerings following the addition of experienced associate Angela He in November and the opening of Sideman & Bancroft Europe in January.

“The success that Sideman & Bancroft has enjoyed over the past forty years has been grounded largely in our ability to respond to the growing demands of the marketplace,” said Jeff Hallam, Sideman & Bancroft’s managing partner and a leading member of BIIG. “We see the addition of Amanda, Arthur and Pauline as an opportunity to further distinguish and strengthen our offerings at a time when our clients are facing an increasingly complex brand protection landscape.”

Amanda Rinkoff joins as a partner in BIIG, where she will focus her practice on brand protection and marketing law. She assists companies with protecting their brands through developing and executing programs that address counterfeit or infringing products procured through fraud. Additionally, she counsels corporate clients on wide range of marketing issues and has deep experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts related to marketing, advertising and licensing.

Arthur Minasyan joins Sideman & Bancroft as an associate in BIIG as well as in the Litigation and Appeals and Intellectual Property groups. He has a wide array of litigation experience in both state and federal courts and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in European law.

Pauline Tseng joins the firm as an associate in BIIG, where she will focus her practice on intellectual property litigation and enforcement.

“We are excited to welcome Amanda, Arthur and Pauline on board and believe the skills and experience they bring to the table will be of tremendous value as we set our sights on continuing to deliver leading brand protection legal services to our global base of clients,” added Sideman & Bancroft partner Kelly McCarthy.

Ms. Rinkoff was previously an associate at Sideman & Bancroft and Cooley before working in-house for nine years at the Gap and Uber, where she focused on intellectual property and marketing legal work. She earned her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law. Prior to law school, she worked as a marketer for technology companies, which provided her with a deep understanding of how businesses work and informs much of the advice she now provides as a lawyer.

Mr. Minasyan earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, he participated in three Honors Moot Court Competitions, including the Internal Appellate Competition and the External ABA Negotiation Competition. Mr. Minasyan is a certified translator in the Russian Language and has fundamental proficiency in Spanish and Armenian.

Ms. Tseng earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was an Alumni Scholar, an editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review, and a research assistant to leading IP scholar, Professor Jennifer E. Rothman. Ms. Tseng was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Philip S.
